Lash Lift and Tint

A lash lift is a semi-treatment that defines your natural lashes and gives it a beautiful curled look. A perfect alternative to eyelash extensions, providing long-lasting results with little to no maintenance.

This treatment is great for the client that wants a mascara look. We do not recommend lash lifts for chemotherapy clients.

Lash lift takes approximately 60 minutes and lasts for between 6 – 8 weeks based on the client’s lash cycle (please note: medication, biotin, and lash serums can affect the lash cycle and shedding).

In the first 24 hours after getting a Lash Lift, we recommend:

– Not getting your lashes wet and staying away from heat (saunas and steam rooms).

– Not applying any product to your lashes, after 24 hours you may apply make-up like eyeliner, eye-shadow, mascara etc.

The process is very similar to eyelash extensions with the client’s eyes remaining closed the entire time. The top eyelids and bottom lashes are covered with a gel pad, a mini silicon rod is then placed to the top of the eyelid (the rod size used, depends on the length of the client’s natural eyelashes). A lash glue that is water-soluble is then used to gently hold the natural lashes back up against the mini silicon rod, a lash setting solution is then applied and left to sit for between 5-7 minutes. Using a micro-swab the setting solution is then removed and the lash neutralizer solution is applied and left to sit for 5 minutes. After the neutralizer is removed the next step is tinting which takes about 20 minutes.

The tint comes in different shades from light brown, medium brown to blue/black (darkest black). Based on what look the client is aiming for the tint shade is chosen, as an example for a mascara look, most clients go for the cooler shade of blue/black; while more of a reddish after tone is achieved with the use of the warmer shades like light brown or medium brown. The dye does not harm the lashes as they are made for lashes. A protective balm is applied under the client’s eyes and gel pads are placed under the bottom lashes to prevent the dye from staining the skin. The dye is applied to the lashes using a micro-swab. Depending on the client’s lash cycle, lash tint can last between 6 – 8 weeks.
