Waxing

Waxing is the removal of hair from the root. Hair in the waxed area usually take between 4 – 6 weeks to grow back. Some clients may see hair regrow within a week due to some of their hair being on a different human hair growth cycle.

There are different types of waxing suitable for getting rid of unwanted hair. Most area’s of the body can be waxed, including face, eyebrows, arms, legs, back, abdomen, knuckles, feet and bikini area. Soft waxing or strip waxing is a technique by which the wax is thinly spread of the skin and cloth strip is applied, pressed firmly till the wax adheres to the strip and the wax to the skin, then the strip is quickly ripped against the hair growth direction removing the wax along with the hair. Hard wax is normally used for Brazilian waxes and bikini area, since it works well on smaller sections and coarse hair. It also works well on facial skin and the nose at it shrink-wraps the hair thus removing short noticeable hair.
